Huum Hive Wood 13

Huum Hive Wood 13 is a surprisingly slim wood burning sauna heater at only 18 in (45 cm) wide for a mid-sized sauna. Compared to the Hive Heat 12, the door in this model is made of welded steel. Also the burning temperature is a bit higher, and thus the power rating is higher.

Wood burning sauna heaters are the traditional way to heat the sauna. The process to start the fire, the live flame, the never repeating shape of the flame, the sound and the smell of the wood burning: all make the sauna to be alive. A benefit is also the natural air ventilation, as the burning fire draws air from the floor level of the sauna, which also helps to even out the temperature differences in the sauna.

Huum heaters are presented with rounded stones, that have a benefit of creating less dust and better air circulation, but just as well regular heater stones can be used, that have a benefit of a lower cost.

Note: Huum heaters have a 5 year warranty!

Remove the stones from the heater once per year, for inspection, replace any broken stones or stones with calcium or other deposit, and re-insert the stones carefully.
